About the Scholarship

The Joseph A. Porco Scholarship is awarded annually in spring. The number of scholarships and award values may vary and will be confirmed by announcements each year on this website. The current scholarship award amount is $2500.

Scholarship applications are available on this website. Award winners may be asked to attend a New York Propane Gas Association meeting to accept the award and meet members.

Scholarships are available to those employed and dependents of those employed by companies who are members of the New York Propane Gas Association in the state of New York.

Scholarships will be awarded based upon the review of completed scholarship applications by officers of the foundation and their committee members.
